What makes CAA different?

CAA eliminates the stress of sleep-away while giving a full camp experience. With our extensive, experienced staff, we are able to offer campers class choices well beyond what anyone else has to offer. In addition, our program mentors campers. They not only have fun, they learn and grow. CAA feels like home away from home where campers feel free to experiment and discover.

How many classes do campers take?

The 8-15 year-old group chooses 5 classes prior to camp that they take throughout the duration of the session. The 5-7 year olds take a set series of 4-5 classes that show them all CAA has to offer. Both groups have one more class that is chosen in camp to round out their schedule.

May I hand-deliver or fax the class selections for 8-15 year-old campers?

Yes. Our fax number is 212.722.7226.

Will my child receive most of their first class choices?

Classes are filled on a first-come first-served basis and many families return their choices immediately upon receipt. We try our best to give each camper a few of their first choices.

Can my child attend CAA for less than 4 weeks?

We encourage campers to attend the entire session, however partial enrollment is available – call for details.

Do you have swimming?

A new athletics facility was just added. We are adding swimming to our program this summer!

Since everyone brings their own lunch, is there refrigeration?

No – the campers keep their lunch bags in their back packs all day so please insert a cold pack in your child’s lunch box.

Can my child bring peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch?

No. We are strictly a NUT-FREE camp. No food or snacks with nuts can be brought to or served at camp.

Do you hold an open house or offer tours?

No, we are not able to offer tours or an open house during the school year. Go to the Videos Page to see our camp in action!
