Creative Arts & Athletics was founded in 1982.
This program is a model of the Charles River Creative Arts Program in Dover, MA
Our ProgramsCampers aged 5-7 travel together from class to class with their counselors. They sample all of the subject areas at Creative Arts, with some class selections available. This program consists of about 45 campers.
Campers ranging from ages 8-14 choose their own classes. There are 6 permanent periods in a day with about 15 class choices for each period. Before camp begins, each camper chooses their classes for the summer. There is also a bonus period called Pick-at-One that is chosen in camp. There are approximately 160-170 campers in this division. ** New for CAA 2018 - Advanced Classes for 13 & 14 year olds. ** |
The Big AppleNew York City is one of the most exciting places in the world with some of the most talented artists and educators; we take full advantage of our enviable location! During the summer, we see a Broadway show and have visiting Guest Artists. This being said, the true stars of our summer are the campers themselves. Each day after lunch, we settle in for a Noontime Show in which campers perform for campers.
